I can taste the soul echoing off your tongue,
It tastes the same since we were both young.
Hands explore and caress the soft features,
Twisting with desire and pulsing like we’re creatures.
Impulse flutters through the nerves and electrifies,
Heightened senses pushing us to synchronize.
The sensation overwhelms the surrounding landscape,
Blurring the lines between the conscious and stagnate.
Feeding off one anothers existence,
Limits diminish leaving us with omnipotence.
Craving another body in hopes of excusing loneliness,
Tortured souls left to wither with only their opiates.
Two minds once young and agile,
Suddenly realized they’re now so fragile.
